This is the fine art print gallery for The Caribbean Photo Archive, a privately owned collection of original photographs taken throughout the Caribbean Islands, the Bahamas and Bermuda in the 19th century and early 20th century. Islands pictured include Jamaica, Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, St Vincent. St Lucia, St Kitts, Grenada, Curacao, St Thomas, St Croix, Dominica, Nevis, Montserrat and Guadeloupe. Nearly every photographic format is represented including daguerreotypes, salt prints, albumen prints, gelatin silver prints, stereocards, carte-de-visites, cabinet cards, and glass slides. Subjects depicted include plantation life, natural disasters, tourism, hotels, markets, education, military, churches, architecture, government, home life and recreation.

All of the prints for sale on the site have been copied from original 19th century albumen photographs which have been scanned, selectively retouched, and printed on Hahnemuhle Bamboo natural warm tone 290 gsm archival grade fine art paper by Michael Hager of Museum Photographics in Rochester, NY, using an Epson Stylus Pro 9900 printer.
